Hi everyone! My name is Ralph and I’m the shop apprentice. I’m originally from the Netherlands and I’ve been living in Ireland for the last 20+ years.
Prior to becoming the shop apprentice, I worked in Corporate Finance for 15 years. Then, on a warm summer’s day, while walking my dog and contemplating life, I had an epiphany. It was time to pack in the office job and pursue my true passion – Art, more specifically, the wonderful craft of tattooing. I was fortunate enough to get my foot in the door with Colour Works and I can’t thank Darren enough for the opportunity. I also feel immensely grateful to be surrounded by so many talented artists.
While I have an appreciation for all styles of tattooing, my real passion lies with the timeless style of traditional Japanese, aka Irezumi.
